Ministries
We would love to hear from you.
I've been blessed to be part of five Ministries
This is my 10th year as President. I’m a faithful Catholic woman who loves to lead women 18 years old and older to get to know and love Our Blessed Mother and her beloved Son, Jesus Christ. We hold fellowship gatherings and fundraisers, Spring Luncheons, Christmas Brunches, and community Worship Workshops.
I’m a Facilitator for Grief Support Ministry.
I facilitate grieving families after a loss of a loved one.
I serve communion at mass and give communion to the homebound.
We have seven ladies, and each lady picks a day to pray to The Holy Rosary for our Head Pastor. My day is Sunday.
I clean the Altar and the entire Sanctuary.
A Blessed Journey to Washington, D.C., and a Joyful Fellowship Gathering, 2024
This past weekend was truly special as Eric, the church group, and Diana Casile-Flecken journeyed to Washington, D.C., for a spiritually enriching experience. During the bus ride, the group united in prayer, reciting the Holy Rosary and Divine Mercy Chaplet. In Washington, D.C., they immersed themselves in the beauty and solemnity of the Basilica of the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception. From confession to touring the shrines, admiring the stunning artwork, and celebrating Holy Mass, it was a day filled with grace. The group returned home around 9 pm, filled with renewed faith.
Sunday continued the spirit of fellowship as Diana led a gathering for the Altar and Rosary Society Ministry. The event included a presentation on “Mary, The New Eve,” blending prayer and meaningful conversation, followed by a delightful tea party to warmly welcome members. Though not all could attend, those present enjoyed a joyous time of reflection and community. Pictures from these memorable events will be shared soon. Many blessings to all!

Altar and Rosary Society 2023
Installation of new members. I was putting on there Miraculous Medals and our Vice President was handing them each a pale blue Rosary. Our Head Pastor followed behind congratulating all the women. Then we took a beautiful group picture with Our Lady Fatima Statue in front of us.
It was a beautiful celebration. I organized a spring luncheon to celebrate with the new and existing members.
After the Installation and mass we had a wonderful luncheon at one of our favorite Italian restaurants. One of the photos has my daughter Toriana, our head Pastor and myself. Thats one of my favorites.

The Altar and Rosary Society Fundraiser 2021 The Golden Girls Show.
We had it at our Church Parish Hall. We had a total of 255 people attend. Look at all those baskets all our members made. I usually make six to eight baskets a Fundraiser. We gain most of our profit from selling tickets for the basket auctions. We make a couple of dollars from the admission tickets. I try to make sure the admission ticket covers the meal and entertainment. I get my husband Eric involved in these Fundraisers along with my daughter. I make it a family function. It’s a lot of volunteer work but I love doing it.

This is my Grief support Ministry
Our sessions run three hours once a week. For eight weeks straight. Myself and another Facilitator, facilitate the spring sessions. We have four sessions a year.
We establish Confidentiality and trustworthy communication dialogue between the Facilitators and the participants in the class. We give them reading materials and ask them kindly to read and we will discuss it at our next meeting. We start each meeting and end each meeting with a prayer. I always ask our participants, if they have a particular prayer, they would like to recite. I have them participating in group sharing. We stress the more they share the more it will feel comfortable and natural it becomes to share their stories with family and friends. I explain to them we are all in this together. We’ve all experienced grief. We also encourage tears. Tears are a sign of healing not WEAKNESS.
In these two photos. On the last night of our eighth week we organize a celebration of life party. We do a few more story shares, order pizza, sandwiches etc. Then we have them wright on white balloons with a black markers, their intentions for their loved ones. Then we head outside the church parking lot. Start out with a heartfelt prayer, and then at the count of three we release our balloons. They watch them fly away to the heavens.
Again I don’t have many pictures only two with this ministry. We keep this ministry private.

This is the extraordinary minister Ministry
These are the only two photos I have of myself serving. We aren’t allowed to take pictures during mass. I’m not sure who took these and how I got them.
In these photos I’ll describe what an Extraordinary Ministers duties are, and how we take part in this blessed Ministry of Distributing communion. I also have a pyx which is a small round cylinder that holds the host to take to the homebound.
After the hosts has been consecrated and the drinking of the wine, The Body and Blood of Our Lord Jesus Christ, has taken place by the Priest.
We then step onto the Altar. The extraordinary ministers received the Consecrated host on our tongue or hand. I prefer the proper way, the tongue. Father then says ” The Body of Christ” We respond. ” Amen. ” Then we are each given a ciborium and walk down to distribute the Consecrated host to the church.
The second photo, my line was finished. Here I am bringing the ciborium back to the Altar after the distribution of the consecrated host and the left over host returns back in the tabernacle. We genuflect and then walk back to our pews.
The color pink finds it’s meaning during the third week of Advent, which begins Gaudete Sunday. To be true to the color, it is more correctly referred to as rose rather than pink. Think of it as the color of Joy.
